My Experiences

My current employment is a USA Gymnastics level 2 coach at Gymnastics Unlimited. I started gymnastics when I was 7 years old and continued competing club and high school gymnastics through my senior year. My senior year I decided to start coaching level 2s because of my love for the sport and gymnastics is the reason why I want to become a physical therapist. 

In this class I learned how to correctly teach exercises and how to modify them for those who have injuries. Teaching a class was difficult and uncomfortable at first, but as the semester went on it got easier and I was more confident in leading a class of students. Not only was I teaching but I was sharing my passion and discoveries as an instructor.
